Research Strands

The EFL project brings together 11 research teams. The planned research activities are organized into five collaborative strands corresponding to the strengths of the teams.

The five axes each represent a new challenge: (1) the complexity of phonetics and phonology with a reinforcement of empirical approaches, (2) experimental grammar from a cross-linguistic perspective; (3) the typology and dynamics of linguistic systems; ( 4) the representation of language and its treatment over the course of life (5) computational semantic analysis.
